The villas have given many guests the peace/quiet and luxury they were looking for over the past four years. We spend a lot of time there ourselves, to ensure that every guest gets that 'wow' factor when they arrive and our management team ensure first class cleanliness/comfort and advice if needed.
We first visited Lanzarote in 1979-to reach Playa Blanca you had to travel on rough tracks to find a bar/restaurant a small beach and a few houses - it's changed a lot since then but still remains one of the most beautiful and safe resorts on the island.
The villas are on a residential complex with peach coloured street lighting at night, 3 community pools and private access roads, as it is residential you will find it very quiet and maintained to a high standard.
A small shop is five minutes walk away and a taxi rank just past the shop for those guests who prefer not to drive - it is just under 3 euros to get into the centre of Playa Blanca - taxi numbers can also be found in the villa.
We spend a lot of time in the villas and hope that we have managed to achieve the complete 'home from home' experience, we want all our guests to come back again and again and of course tell all their friends [and they do- guests that booked in 2004 have visited us regularly since]
The pool area offers sun all through the day, but there are areas of shade on the terrace near the villa and parasols are provided. The pool has integral steps - ideal for small children who want to paddle and for adults who want to 'chill out' with a glass of wine! There is a larger part of the pool that caters for the more energetic ones - if the cover is kept on at night the pool maintains a constant temperature of between 26/28 degrees-please be careful of the sun even on cloudy days
A security safe is provided in the master bedroom but all the doors have 'deadlocks' and the villas are very secure.
There is very little crime in Playa Blanca and the general theme is for families and couples, with a beautiful pedestrianised area starting at the harbour [where the ferry leaves for Fuerteventura and Los Lobos] and continuing along the seafront for miles with a wide selection of restaurants/bars and shops, to the back of this there is a further pedestrianised area with lots more shops, restaurants and bars - you really are spoiled for choice. A new marina has recently been opened - a five minute drive from the centre of Playa Blanca, with a selection of restaurants and bars and designer shops, also it has an excellent market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
For those guests who have decided not to hire a car we can offer private guided tours around the island and we can arrange a private airport transfer service. We have ensured that our satellite channels include, not only over 100 English speaking channels including topical sports channels and BBC radio, but German, French, Spanish and Italian channels as we have had guests from all over the world, including the United States.
